Registration Now Open for the 2nd Philippine Coffee Sustainability Congress

The Philippine Coffee Board, Inc. (PCBI) invites the coffee community to the 2nd Philippine Coffee Sustainability Congress, happening on October 15–16, 2026, in Makati City.

With the theme “Cultivating Tomorrow’s Cup: Working Towards a Sustainable Future for Philippine Coffee,” this year’s Congress brings together coffee farmers, industry leaders, researchers, government agencies, development organizations, academe, coffee professionals, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and explore ways to make coffee a more sustainable livelihood.

Two Days of Learning, Connections, and Coffee

Day 1, October 15, will be held at the Makati Sports Club from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The day will feature talks, panel discussions, and presentations covering sustainability, coffee research, innovative practices, circularity, new opportunities in coffee, and inspiring experiences from across the industry. The program will also include the 3rd Coffee Cup of Distinction Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to Philippine coffee.

On Day 2, October 16, each participant will take part in one of four experiential activities at different locations:

  • Coffee Cupping – At Open House World, Salcedo Village, Makati City, participants will experience a guided exploration of how coffee professionals taste and evaluate different coffees.
  • Coffee Workshop – Also at Open House World, Salcedo Village, Makati City, participants will discover how science influences coffee extraction and taste and how these principles can help develop their own brewing approach.
  • Coffee Crawl – Explore the coffee scenes of Salcedo Village and Legazpi Village, Makati City, with each group visiting three cafés and experiencing a variety of coffees.
  • Coffee Farm Tour – Travel to the PCBI Technology Center in Amadeo, Cavite, for a hands-on look at coffee growing and farm practices, including a special coffee briquette demonstration. Round-trip transportation will be provided from a designated meeting point in Makati City.

Slots for each Day 2 activity are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each participant must select one Day 2 activity as part of their registration.
